Why Good Company Events?
Many group experiences follow a fixed script - the same agenda, the same activities, regardless of who’s in the room. At Good Company Events, we take a different approach.
It starts before the event even begins. We take time to learn about your group - your company culture, your goals, the tone that feels right for your team. That context is shared with every instructor so they arrive already prepared to serve your group specifically, not a generic one.
Then, within the session itself, we stay responsive. If a group needs more time to warm up, we slow down. If the energy is high, we lean in. This ability to read and respond to a room in real time isn’t just a philosophy - it’s a skill, shaped by years of training in both yoga instruction and improvisational theater, where adapting to the moment is fundamental to the practice.
The result is an experience that feels less like an event your group attended and more like something that actually happened for them.
Allie
Allison (Allie) Lind is a yoga, meditation, and improv instructor based in Los Angeles and the founder of Good Company Events.
A singer and actor since childhood, Allie completed her improv training at Second City Chicago and currently performs with Mission Improvable at the Westside Comedy Theatre. While performing on improv stages in Chicago and Los Angeles, she discovered her passion for introducing people to the life skills improv can build - from confidence and adaptability to learning to laugh at the unexpected.
After completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Rising Lotus Yoga in 2018, Allie began combining the ancient traditions of yoga with the playfulness of improvisation. Her approach makes mindfulness practices and personal growth accessible and engaging for people of all backgrounds and experience levels.
In 2020, Allie began leading virtual corporate events designed to help people stay connected during the pandemic. Having now facilitated hundreds of sessions, she specializes in creating welcoming environments where participants feel comfortable trying something new - whether that means stepping onto a yoga mat, practicing mindfulness, or joining in a moment of shared laughter.
Allie founded Good Company Events with the belief that the most meaningful experiences are the ones that respond to the needs of the people in the room. Each session is thoughtfully adapted to the energy, goals, and comfort level of the group.
When she’s not teaching, Allie is a singer, actor, and writer - and mom to the best preschooler.
